Lads I have a wheel bearing gone in my wagon but as I found out the other night you cant spin the wheels with the car jacked up to check. Is there any way of checking which one is gone??

Mate, r you sure you can not spin with the wheel when it is up on a jack? I know these babies are 4wd but they do have diff fitted otherwise they would not go around corners.......

was she out of gear when you tried..if she was in gear then no the wheel would not turn......you 'must' be able to turn a wheel....no if you were trying the cowboy way and 'run/drive' when the wheel was up then no you can not do that.

as for checking the wheel bearing you will find it very difficult to determine due to the design of scooby..most MOT places miss it on a static test...

I would have though you can determine which wheel it was from driving.

If you think the bearings are gone then you'd better change them smartish, otherwise you'll need new hubs as well and that's expensive
