Put a charged battery in it.

I dont like jump starting any car that is full of computers, you may hit it with a big power spike.

new battery are around £60 if your is fubar

Would it be safe to connect + then - from another car then start this car for a while. Remove the jump cables + then - then try and start the scooby?

thx

Wink

Bump it!

Get the wife to jump out and give it a push.... worked for me. Wife didn't even get a hernia....

Then get a new battery asap. Modern batteries die in an instant rather than fading away.

I had to jump start my scooby the other day had no other choice, but no problems. Have now changed the battery. I got mine from local car place, but believe £50 from Halfords.

Unhappy

Mine only lasted untill 2 months ago. Thought something wrong, no oommph in the car when starting. My battery was identical to the original and was £42 from a local trader.Even fitted it as i dont know where to start and very generously offerd to collect and return the car for me.(passed on that for obvious reasons)
