Default Fault code 31

Hello everyone

Im going to look at a subaru impreza 96 tomorrow. These are the faults with it

usual dings and trolley dents you might expect from a car of this age plus one in the bonnet where some idiot decided to jump on it before doing a runner(hardly noticeable unless you know its there). drivers seat bolster shows wear but no holes, rips or tears, small cig burn tho, was there when i baught it. rear bumper could do with new fixings at the corners where it meets the wheel arches. i removed the carpet etc from the boot when i put an install in, still in my garage. there is a space saver spare in the garage too. slight knocking from front suspension, might just want tighteneing, if i get a chance i'll run it down to my local garage and get it looked at. the check engine light has recently appeared showing fault code 31 if i recall correctly, which is throtle position sensor. i have spoken to special scoobies and have been told its reasonbly inexspensivea to cure the fault. nothing that i'd be too worried about.

The main things im concerned about are the fault code 31. what is this?
also the suspension.

The cars done 75000 miles and its an import

Any replies welcome

If your going to consider this car mate I'd tell him you will give him another £300 on top of what he's asking to sort the probs out. If he squirms walk away.

Andy.
