the lagging on my downpipes are looking a bit worse for wear and has ripped in places, is this something i can do and it is just a case of getting the proper lagging and rapping it round etc or is there procedures for doing this, also wheres the best place for me to get some.

its allways best to use the good stuff ,, dont buy that old s*it from ----tweeks its cr@p
i design an build zosts, i use think automotive, but that will depend on where you are as to if they are any good for you.
The job itself is not hard, tips keep the wrap wet it will stop all the small fibre floting around in the air.
Once you have it all on get some lockwire on it all the way down, it will just help in keeping it all in the wright place an stop it shifting about

whats the best product to get, just so i know what to look for.

 

think automotive ltd 02085681127 i get it from them , they do it in 2 sizes but i have found that the smaller ( 2" ) is easyer to work with. they do it buy the foot , i just get it on the roll .
if you call them up and talk to matthew , he is the man ( owner )
he will sort you out , tell him pete with the smart sent you

1.35 a mtr of the stuff i et 3mm thick 50mm wide
