Craig Ellsmore's DP Motorsport prepaired subaru Impreza ( fully road legal ) did an 11.01 @ 127mph came 3rd overall and he is now driving back to Cornwall a happy man. Impressive for a car that was on road tyres with a full interior and a full tank of juice.

I drove all the way up in the rain and when i got to Elvington it stopped and then slightly drizzeled not bad but then i cooked the clutch and only done a 12.8 gutted as i did a 12.2 and averaged 12.4 at Santa Pod but then i had to drive 200 miles back home with trouble selecting gears (in the rain) but as they have said above it was worth going just to see Ollie blast up the strip in the Gobstopper and Andy Forest of course. Also it was good to see a lot of fast Scoobs up the strip, but my only regret is not doing the handling course (didnt want to risk it with the clutch and the drive home) but as i left at 2 it seems the rain came in just after but overall a good experience apart from the lack of food available i started to queue but after half an hour and moving about as far as an asmatic ant with a heavy shopping bag i gave up, working out i could have had about 6 runs or twice around the handling track in that time, so had to wait and grab a salmanela sandwich from a service station which i might add cost about as much as the tank of v power that i put in, but was great to see so many scoobs in one place and also the weather didnt dampen anybodys enthusiasm just imagine what it would have been like if the sun had been out ahh well maybe next year, WELL DONE TO SHAUN AND THE TEAM ps thanks Paul and Liz of Zen performance for taking the trouble to have a feel of my cogs! you know what i mean

Aye....another good day out, just a bit of a let down about the weather.

I think you need to get John "lordharding" to book the weather in future....he must have a better deal with God or summat!!

Saw some superb Scoobs today. First time I've seen the RCM car.........my it's sure is purdy!! Andy F as usual........scalded cat!

I was glad to see Steven Darley out too.......I think he only just got the car ready in time........how did ya do Steven? I think you were running 3rd when I left.

I want the RCM car, followed by a few of them thar Type 25's and then a selection of others!! That SC450 went well too !! Crystal Grey "Hawkeyes" are lush.........seen the proof today

There was also a wicked Spec C (I think)....white with an absolutely mint underbonnet area. Heavily modified too.

Fingers crossed for better weather next year, and I hope to have another Scoob for the event. 400bhp minimum though I fear!!!

Got me a 12.60 / 118 mph terminal today, nice!

Good event, weather a bit of a dampner ... I only tried the handling course after it rained and had a bit of a spin .... not too good times in the wet tho.

Not sure what happened at the end, was told the finals were cancelled ( again ) due to rain? So we all left by 3:30 ish.

11.2 130 Terminal - was 3rd behind RCM and Andy F after first runs - then a few over took me - ended the day 6th overall - and in the pro class! That when I left so may have been bumped down a few? - but then the heavens opened asI was leaving so not sure where I finished.

Was my first event - so first time at lights i parked completely past them and every one laughed, as I was marsheled back!

I did 6 runs - getting better every time - 5th run fasted - 6th run gearbox blew ended day.(no 3rd-4th). Turbonators dont take prisoners!

Car had full road trim - spare wheel, qtr tank fuel - rear seats in place road tyres etc.

Barry was there in his Deer Stalker - anyone get any pics??

Paul (ZEN) diagnosed it as selector fork - third was crunching - so I had to ram it in - think i ramed it home a bit too hard.
