Default modded tdo4 good upgrade?

hi, recently had a ecutek remap by andy f on my 99 classic which is now running 270bhp with full decat, andy said the next step would be one of his modded td04 and new remap to suit, anyone fitted one on here and what sort of power could i expect, is it worth the money? would i need to get any other mods such as upgraded fuel pump?

Fuel pump would be safe, but Andy will tell you for sure.
His TD04 Hybrids are well worth it. Can get over 300 maybe 320 BHP out of one of them with Andy mapping it.
I got the VF34 and still sometimes wish i had his hybrid on mine.
By using the hybrid you will keep the low down spool up of the TD04 and so you will have a mean mid range boost which is exactly where you want it for 'real world' driving. My VF34 boosts around the 3300 to 3400 rev area, well full boost then, but the hybrid will still be on boost around 2900 and full boost shortly thereafter. IIRC.
Go for it, you wont be disappointed!

I got a TD04 hybrid last week.

I think people are put off because the name includes the term "TD04" !

It produces a bit less power than other upgrade turbos. However, compared to the std TD04,you lose absolutely no responsiveness, keep the low down spool, yet gain a significantly stronger midrange and it pulls near enough to the red line. 1.4 bar (full boost) at 2700 revs on a sportscat downpipe.

Good turbo. The VF35 is a good choice too, from what I've heard

I've been looking at one of those on andy's website as I am changing up pipe and downpipe soon and whilst most parts are removed thought it would be good idea to replace Turbo at same time. Obviously will then be mapped at Zen.
andythejock, do you know what power your car is producing, what other mods have you done?
