Cheers guys. Don't spose you know how to make it go faster?
Even after a new engine(20000miles ago), new turbo and new diesel pump, the thing is still so damn slow! Its the gm engine.

Bit confused now. Went the castrol website and this is their recommendation:

SMX-S
Fully synthetic SAE 75W-85 manual gear oil

you can use 75w90 in them, we always do with track or competition cars - simply for a road car the ATF is the 'right' oil..................

Might use syntrax then. I was very impressed with the stuff when I put it in both my old sti4 and uk turbo.
Just two more questions, where abouts are the drain/fill plugs and how much does the box take?

Cheers Alyn

to drain it you should drop the diff cover/inspection plate, to fill it there is a plug near to where the drive shaft is n/s/f about 13mm! but its been a while!!!

normally fill thro the breather on the top of the selector tower 17mm??(far easier), and then you fill until it reaches the 'level' plug mentioned above, near the N/S shaft
about 1.5ltrs from memory
