mate of mine was tellign me how i should remove my DV....... said they sound really smart and feel more responsive?

dont bother removing it unless you want a knackered engine/turbo.

yes it probably sounds smart (ie it has the chirping a rally car has) but it knackers your tubro up faster that putting a chocolate fireguard in front of a raging fire.

Guy, if there were ANY performance benefits at ALL, either Subaru themselves, or Prodrive, would remove them.
They don't. They are there for a purpose, and it's not to make the engine make less noise.

From what I've been told the TD05 will run fine without a dump valve.
