Initial thoughts are torque converter problems as if there's enough oil in it and you can red line the car whilst in gear and with the brakes on it aint doing a good job ... but without more info its difficult to say. When did it stop working and what was the car doing at the time? have you tried to chang the oil fully and not just topped it up? 2 dip sticks you say, I'm happy to be wrong but most autos I've worked on only have one?

Default still problems

thanks for helping mate I made the mistake of racing it down santapod to see what 1/4
mile I could get but I was getting really rubbish times due to pull away so I decided to put my foot on the brake while revving to about 2500rpm then launching everything was fine till to days later and there is definitely two dipsticks for this auto
