Default Gearbox swap!!

Our gearbox has gone on our 95 WRX, the code was TY752VB3FA. We have been offered a box with code TY752VBAAA (same gear ratios but different rear diff type). Our diff code is C (Screw refuse type LSD - 27011AA280) and the other box is F,G (Sure truck mounted LSD). We haven't removed our rear diff, does anyone know if this will make a difference if we buy this box and fit it as it is, or will the rear diff need replacing with the other type?
Thanks for any help!
Char n Shaun

as long as the diff ratio is the same as the box you should be fine.

Be slightly carefull
Make sure the drop gears are the same. Some are 1:1 (Jap boxes) and some are 1:1.1 usually UK boxes.
This has an effect on the ratio of the rear diff to the front.

Graham.
