Default Blob or Slant eyes WRX for cheap power hike?

wondering which offers best purchase to obtain substantial torque with minimal outlay - would like over 300 ft lb if practical at sub £1500 upgrade..

PPP at £1000 or Ecutek3 custom remap after decat with Sports downpipe.

265bhp for the first, 280bhp for the second.

Think about a Whiteline ARB and/or Prodrive springs too.

Wouldn't the 2.5 lump in the new shape be more receptive to 300 ft lb ?

If you've got PPP its should already have an uprated fuel pump. Although in some cases its been known to have not been fitted even though its in the ppp.

well in answer to the oringinal Question id go for the 2.5, as i ve heard this is the best for the low-down torque, so would presume this will be easier to get to 300lb/ft i got 306 bhp, 283lb/ft from my 03wrx had ihi vf 43 turbo(hawkeye sti), full decat from up-pipe onwards, green panel filter, walbro 255 fuel pump, 3-port solonoid and ecutek3 total about £1500
