Just wondering; would uprating the intercooler in my 1997 uk turbo 2000 have any benefits to the engine? Like cooling/performance etc?

Not really - You would only normally change the IC or go to a FMIC if you were doing it to support other mods (more boost/different turbo etc)

I seem to remember from earlier posts that you have decided to go for about 320bhp? In that case your intercooler will be fine.

If you are after any more, then you would need to replace it with a bigger one e.g. STi 7/8 or FMIC etc.
