took it off to see if it was sealing properly because it seemed boost was building up slower than i thought it used too, almost 2 seconds from 0 to 1bar, vaccum is still ok at about -0.7 on tick over.

with the dawes in my hand i put the pipe in my mouth and suck, stick my tongue in the hold to see if the pressure is held and its not, hardly at all and if i blow i can here it leaking. ive tried tightening right down and still the same on both suck and blow.

new one needed?

If it is a genuine dawes there is a small hole in the end. Is it blocked?

 

not blocked, ive stripped it and still got the leaky problem, should they seal 100%?

 

its no bother, ill buy a new one, can be arsed with trying to fix it
