Hi I disconnected my Speedo cable to change my dials when I have put the car all back together the car will not start? It turns over fine but just will not fire. It will start if you spray carb cleaner in the air filter though?

I was wondering if removing the speedo cable affects this?

If disconnected it would go into limp mode. I wouldn't have thought it would stop the car from starting. I would say that this is a separate problem.

 

any idea what would cause this?
