Default Question for the mapper's

I'm looking at changing my 3" closed neck down pipe for an open or twin dump type. Andy F mapped the car last year and i'm wondering will I need the map tweaking if I change the down pipe?

It may boost spike, but you may be able to control this on the actuator tension or restrictor size.

Cheers Scott is it worth changing from a closed neck to open does anyone know? or should I stop messing.

It could effect nothing, it could effect fuelling, ignition and boost.. you should get it checked..

You are changing something so the engine is more efficent but considering running it on the map that was done on the less efficent set up.

absolutely - I would get the map checked - it would be very expensive if not done so why try and tempt fate?

I've binned the idea, new seats instead I think, less hassle and saves weight.
