If i could turn the clock back, I would have spent my money on handling rather than power to start.

Just wondering if you feel you did it it the right order.

I'm just thinking about doing some more mods, as it lOOks like i might be keeping my car a year/18m longer than expected.

I've done it all **** about face. I would definitely do it different.

I wish i'd of gone (Gems/Motec) ECU instead of EcuTek for a start.
Not of got 2.5" exhaust, but straight to 3/3.5"
I might possibly of gone AST's, instead of springs.

The rest has gone perfectly:

Mudflaps
PS Springs, Strut brace
Tints
18's
Stage 1 circa 330bhp
ARB, ALK, Geom
Costmetics (headlights, blades)
FR Pads, Hoses, etc
Stage 2, circa 370bhp

I did power, then brakes, then suspension.
If I had to do it again I'd do suspension, brakes, and power last. (but probably very quickly one after another).

I've only made a few mods to MY00 WRX:

bumpsteer
AP 4 pot brakes
Front poly bushes
Adjustable rear anti roll bar
3 * Guages
quick shift

I did them all when I bought the car new, and I'm glad I did. I wanted to get the most miles out of the upgrades, and also to learn the handling of the car with those upgrades, so I didn't want to wait.

The only change I wish I'd done is changing the orange indicators to clear - might do that now, 72k later.

I'd do the same again. Hell, I almost bought the car back 4 months after I'd sold it

When I return though, I may not have to mod

I did brakes first, then handling, then bigger turbo on a UK MY00, but I do think maybe I should have bought a Type R or STi instead and done the same mods!
