I took the kids to Thorpe Park today and queued up specially to ride Stealth in the very front carriage. Mason and I were not dissapointed lol
Damn that things quick

Tunnel was well worth the £1 on the way back too

Go to Thorpe Park: Home
for full details.

Buy your tickets via Tesco club points and you can go for as little as £7 per person rather than £20 plus that most people pay.

Obviously would be date dependant and it's bloody knackering to do it all in a day including travelling there and back.

The last couple of times we have been we booked in to a B&B nearby....much better.

Out of idle curiosity - have the ESC ever been to the other "Local" park - Chessington??

I only ask as the trip to Thorpe Park last year was a blast and there might potentially be more interest if it was a bit more local?

Alton Towers is definately IMO the best of them all, but as Fozzy says it is a bit of a trip away and staying overnight will add to the cost a bit....

We have visited Chessington a few times in the past. That's what we were saying in the calendar thread, these things generally come up at some point during the year.
