For some reason my pc now loads up and when its finished, the tool bar at the bottom of the screen disappears!

The windows key still works and brings up the menu, but the clock etc and programme listings have vanised as has the actual tool bar.

Is there an easy way to put that back on?

richt click on the start button, select 'properties'

click the 'taskbar' tab, and untick 'auto hide the taskbar'

on the same window, put a tick in 'keep the taskbar on top of other windows'

 

Believe it or not I checked this and it was on.

However, 2 restarts and disableing object dock got rid of the problem.
