Anyone had to replace the bonnet scoop on their 05 sti?

A luckless pigeon decided to fly through mine it has broken 3 outta the 4 struts and the plastic funnelling is all whacked...oh and it seems like 10 tons of feathers in the engine bay!

Anyway anyone recommend a scoop, be it the official subaru one and someone to fit it Id be much obliged my sti is black, as I presume the damn thing will need to be painted?

I was only doing 40 saw the damn thing slowed and I think it thought it was a WWII stuka and seemed to aim for me LOL ....witty turd at the garage offered to fit a apple sauce holder on the dash for future encounters

 

lol, i had a sparrow actually go through mine into the engine bay.

luckily no damage was done

 

Carbon one on Flea bay is a direct swap and carbon and black mmmmmmmmmmm
