Ford Focus - new shape
Any tips?
G/F looking at prob a 1.6 Ghia or Titanium prob (maybe zetec or sport but not sure which is better spec) in dark blue.
up to 2 yrs old, pref 1 with less than 20k miles for £10k. Don't do the mileage to justify extra for diesel + we don't like noisier narrow powerbanded cars.
Should get this sort of car in ghia/titanium spec all day long methinks?
Ford dealers good for haggling & test drives?
Other cars considered are golf/a3 but you get less for money and 3/4 years old too rather than 1 year old.

I hired a 1.6 petrol once and i was really impressed the handling for a family car was superb, although the engine needed thrashing a bit but still not too bad and economy was pretty good.
dont discount the diesels they are meant to be brilliant although personally i have not drove a derv so cannot give you first hand info
