Just a quick one really,

Will my heads off my MY95 wrx (import),
Bolt straight onto a block taken from a 2001 bugeye EJ205 (uk ) ??

And work well with each other ?


Any help apprieciated

just use the short motor, use your existing water cross pipe, breathers, manifold , heads etc, all should be ok

 

Just make sure you get the C/R right

i dont think they will fit. The block is phase 2, the heads are phase 1/1.5 so the castings are different to my knowledge.

 

Nope, My 2.5 block is a phase 2 and my heads are phase 1, and I have no problems with them fitting and the engine running.

search will reveal that many more people have done this also

 

interesting, the main reason i posted is that a friend of mine had to revert to using phase 1.5 heads as he was using a relinered 2.2cdb from a 22b and couldnt use his newage heads....

maybe it works one way and not the other?
