I have a late wrx 03. Bought a Prodrive sports cat down pipe from here a while ago. Think it was from an Sti 03. If so do I need to get a spacer for it to fit and where do I get them from?

Will be getting a re-map at Powerstation, but will be running it without a re-map for a couple of weeks then a 150 mile motorway trip to Powerstation.

Am I going to bugger anything up in this time gap?

Also have fitted already, Afterburner de-cat centre and back box + Green filter.

And advice apreciated.

Can I get an uprated fuel pump fitted now or wait until the re-map?

You can fit a uprated fuel pump now if you wish, although you will see no benefit, other than making your car run rich.

Should be fine for a while with your mods without map, the STI had probs when decatting without remap, but WRX should be fine.

Mine has been fully decatted for nearly a year without a map and no probs here, although mine will be having one very soon.

 

Personally after the things I have read on here, I wouldnt get any mods done until i can get a remap, as its actually harmful to your car sometimes!

These mods are planned for me very soon, full decat system, uprated fuel pump, but I will be doing them all on the same day @ Scoobyclinic and having it remapped on the day.
