After installing an HKS racing suction kit on my MY00 UK I am wondering how much a replacement Mass air flow sensor will cost if it fails???

Buying a new one can be very expensive (around 200 pounds).
Keep in mind that it can be cleaned and restored if not totally damaged so in most cases you will not need to buy a new one.

what about the air flow sensor on version 5 which is a hot wire one?
how can you fix that?
