I have had problems with overboost for the last few months and have tried everything to cure it replaced just about every thing on the car waste solenoid vale,actuator,ecu,etc when the garage plugged the select monitor in to it it shows no faults i had an auto electrician look at it too and he said every thing electricals working and was even overboosting with the actuator stuck open there was nothing up to 5000 revs then overboost can anyone help.

sounds the same as i had, running with a magnex de-cat centre and back box was fine, then i added a de-cat front pipe and when the engine got warm and i opened it up an the road overboost.
just the exhaust fitted, no other mods

 

John, I had a similar problem, made a new Turbo restrictor, all sorted now. It's real easy to do, mail me and I'll fill you in.
