If your in need of someone to service or repair your subaru in or around the Sheffield area then go to APP Service. Run by Paul Batty, ex-service manager at Montys with two top mechanics. Paul had always looked after me well when he was at Montys but since he left they are a joke. They didn't even call me back when I tried to book my MoT.

I had a problem with the brake pedal on my STi7 where occassionaly the pedal would travel almost to the floor on first press. As well as getting a horrible ticking noise from the front wheels on cornering.

Took the car to Monty's - "Your brakes need bled"!!!!!!!

Spoke to Subaru Technical Department - "TSL Motorsport couldn't have fitted your new discs properly"!!!!!

Went to see Paul and hey presto. It's the front hubs. The hubs moving on the shaft meant the pads are being pushed back inside the caliper. First press brings the pads back out then next press the brakes are fine. Replaced both hubs and bearings and yippee the car is sorted again.
Excellent job, reasonably priced and washed the car for me too. As far as I'm concerned they will be looking after my car from now on.
