I have just rebuilt my Engine on my 98 StI Type R.
The turbo was knakered so i have replaced it with an MD309 hybrid turbo, which is a Hybrid of the VF24 which was originally fitted. I am planning to get an Apexi Power FC for it and get it mapped but in the meantime can i drive it or is it likely to go bang?

 

think u need to drive it very carefully until it is mapped properly

 

Fine driving off boost but I wouldn't go driving it hard and on boost etc..
