Default COIL PACKS correct fitting procedure??

Having trouble pushing the coil packs back onto the sparkplugs on my 1996 wrx import, do i just push them on as far as i can until i can start screwing the bolt in or is this bad as it will maybe twist the coil pack in at an angle or do i just push the coil pack in as hard as i can until its fully on the spark plug and then tighten up the bolt?????
thanks in advance

as said they should push in with small amount of pressure.. usually need to waggle them to line up with the spark plug.. you feel it drop onto the plug and then push it home.. etc..
