Try TNT mate - even if its in the warehouse its not bad apparently.

A mate of a mate works their and with a bit of overtime pulls 20k

not bad even if its temporary

good luck

Registering with an agency is possibly your best cahnce of a driving job.

Problem is they like experience!
Chickena and egg theory!

Just register with loads, and make yourself available when they call.
Build up your reputaion with them and you will get plenty of work.

I passed my Class1 15 years ago, and even then it was hard to get driving work without experience.
Making myself available, at all hours gave me that crucial EXPERIENCE (2 years). Now don't drive for a living, but once you have the experience, the choice is yours. They ALL want you.

Good luck.

What kind of driving? Van, bus, Class 1, Class 2?

IIRC James Irlam is up that way.

Its not easy being a courier tho. Youl roughly take around 60-100 drops a day out, depending on area you cover. I worked for parceline for 5 years, really enjoyed it. I covered the nottingham city center in a 71/2 ton.
With all the improvememnts they were doing in the center it made the job a bit difficult road closures parking wardens etc.

I really dont know where im going with this reply.
