Default Should I wait for hatchbach

I've got a 2003 WRX and am thinking of changing for a 2006 WRX with prodrive or a nearly new 2006 STI. I'd love to hang on for the new hatchback impreza but does anyone know when its due to be released. Think it looks well nice. Anyone know engines/bhp etc.

It will be MY08 at the earliest, so maybe late 2007, but I doubt it. Auto Express have a "New Impreza" on about every 7th issue, and all of them are made up Photoshop bullsh!t. No-one is even sure if it will be hatch yet. Get an EU import STi for £22k, or even better, a nearly new EU import for £19k and modify the Hell out of it with the cash saved and really enjoy the next 2 years before the new one comes.

Thanks for the reply mate. Might just take your advice, but if i do change the car i'll be keeping it standard except for maybe ppp and a prodrive spoiler.

If you're set on PPP then you're tied to UK supplied as it will invalidate the warranty on EU cars, but if UK dealers are still doing the 5yr servicing and warranty package then that's a good deal IMHO. Bigger performance gains can be had for less money with many other aftermarket tuning packages.
