Simon DB did an excelent voting page for censorshiop, I think it would be great if there was a page where we could submit things for the vote online, rather than some of the rabling threads.......

Like

ABS Is it Good
New Scooby, is it Ugly
UK or Import.

What do you think, vote now.

 

Yes, but you might want to only ask certian people to vote on certain subjects, i.e. WRX owners, 4-door owners, 5-door owners, non-Subaru owners, etc..

Good idea chaps...

How about if i set up a dynamic section where memebers can set up their own votes...

eg, any of us can go in there and set up a vote with out username and password, then people can vote...

It'll just drop off the end if people don't vote for a while....

Would it be necessary to make it so that one member can only vote once?

Would there be a call for it enough to warrant the time to create it?

Something else to bear in mind is that there are some issues that require reasoned debate beforehand and some that perhaps don't.

I agree with Salsa King here, I use POTN too and alot of things are put to a vote with 120 users (around 12 regular posters) . With the amount of people on Scoobynet it could get out of control easily but I guess you could say the same thing about posting?
Just be ready for the posts such as , which is better 22B, P1, UK Turbo , Cossie as it will happen if your not careful. Stopping this sort of thing maybe censorship but it would save alot of agro?
