we got a customer who swears by iridium plugs, and always uses an octane booster as well, his last car used to idle so nice when he traded it in you could instantly tell the difference. incidentally it was a 2.0l n/a gx impreza!

 

i remember a recent artical in jap performance mag (type r project car) and a test they performed using various plugs. one of the sort of plugs you mention gave a serious drop in performance and they was binned for another type.i cant remember which ones were crap but do your re-search. sorry i cant give a specific answer.
