Question

I've got a uk 1998 turbo, and since the recent heavy downpours, my boot is leaking like sieve. I regulaly have to tip out half a bucket full of water from the spare tyre bay, and I can't find where its coming from.
There seems to be a leak by the rear lights, but I have masticed those up but still more water.
Any memebrs who have suffered and solved the problem please help me!

I had a similar problem, power washer filling the boot with half a litre each wash.

Found gaps in the mastic sealant on the rear light clusters.

Fixed it completely by extra mastic.

I know you've done this, but suggest you check the seals. Otherwise it may be the boot seal strip not fitted properly.
