Advice on touching up paint
Whilst trying to polish out a light scratch on my rear wing (With T Cut) Ive managed ,without to much effort ,to go down to the primer!
Any advice on touching up.I have a patch about 10mm by 5mm, Paint is DBM.
Short of having it done professionally,Does anyone do touch up spray or brush? or will I be best to just leave it to avoid making more of a mess?
What about transfer patches, I seem to remember such a thing being sold years ago, just rub on off a sheet of backing.
Any advice from someone with similar experience would be apreciated
Thanks in anticipation

Not very helpful really, but don't buy Subaru's DBM touch up paint. I've tried two different batches and the match is terrible. A paintshop/bodywork place should be able to mix a decent match, don't know how muck that would cost though.
My advice to anyone with 'modern' paint, never use T-Cut, it's too abrasive on what is a very thin layer of paint with laquer over it.
Anyway, I think the problem with the touch-up is that when you put a 'drip' on your chip, you get a layer of paint which is too thick, and therefore it gives the wrong colour, so you need to thin the touch up, and apply VERY small amounts, maybe even a couple of goes to get it right.
Good luck
