Default Engine Check HELP!!!

Av had my car back from full engine rebuild for about 2 weeks.
car is running great
until now, when it has suddenly started to show the engine check light.
The blick code is 42 which i understand is for the idle control switch.
Has anyone had this code before and how can I fix (does anyone have a switch to hand.)
Another quick question. My car is a 95 import by the way and I was wondering where the **** is the diagnostic port is???

Pretty sure the diagnostic port is up under the drivers side footwell. Plugs r taped up high, so a bit of searching is required. The ecu is self deleting so u won't have to get it reset once the problem is fixed the CEL should go out. Hope this helps.
