with det cans and a lambda meter is the only safe way.
Wouldn't go over 1.1 bar though

I wouldn't set the FCD much past 10 which is the recommended number, otherwise you will be shelling out for a new engine.

The fuel cut defender doesn't adjust the boost pressure. The boost control solenoid does that.
All the FCD is, is a device which allows you to to raise the "safety limit",
namely when it cuts the fuel supply to the engine by switching off the injectors.

yes i undeer stand this its basicly a resister between the maf and ecu i'm not running a electronic boost controller i was enquiring as to what number lifts the saeftey limit to which boost if that makes sens? 1 asume 12 is standered (around 15psi i think) then 11 is what?16psi? and so on or have i been misled somewhere along the line?

have you got a boost guage?

easiest way will be to turn your boost up to say 18psi..... i am also assuming you have a MBC or some electronic controller and most likely you will hit fuel cut.... this is now when you would want to adjust your fcd until you can reach 18psi without hittin fuel cut.

I really dont really like your methods to be honest tho, i can sense a blown up car on the cards. i'd just wait for you PFC and get it mapped properly.

Ta,

Bri
