hi all,the problem is with my maf senser unplugged it goes to stall/cut out but dont it just humms in an up and down tone hunting,the engine light comes on when unplugged but dont when plugged in.
ive checked the wiring loom side of maf and all seems fine,ive also checked the vacume pipes for any leaks,ive tried a maf that i know does work,and it still does same.all the symptoms on car point to being a maf problem(probs listed on a previous thread called fitting a scoobyecu). but is there any other reason why it wont cut out with a fully working maf? has anyone had this problem before?

ps. i have got an xs solid uppipe on and its a lot bigger bore than original could this have any thing to do with it.
