can I use a free standing forge valve on a 2000 wrx wagon? anyone?

If you know someone whos handy with a Tig welder you can get the flange from the OEM bracket welded on to the bottom of the Forge valve.

Dazzla,
I have a forge VTA from a classic MY00 turbo with the bung and gasket. Its the one which attaches to the intercooler.
