Exclamation

Si

I am currently logging on to Scoobynet at work during my breaks, and my username and password are coming up automatically.

However, the PC's are used by about 50 people so I need to remove the login details.

I have deleted all cookies, autocomplete, temp internet files, and hacked the registry but they are still showing.

Is there any way to get rid of my details quickly as I dont want anyone posting on my behalf - especially as they know my username from the sticker on my car!!

Cheers

DW, if you are using IE5, go to Extra - Internet Options - Content - Personal Information - AutoFillin button. There you can delete the passwords.

Mine does the same. Only does it with Scooby Net. Not asked it to save the password.

Hi All

This is a good point. I'm going to make a "Logout" button to get rid of your cookies.

I hadn't thought of this, so thank you.

Until then.. You need to close all browsers, then delete the actual cookie file. If your browser is still open, it wil re-instate the cookie when you close it.

All the best

Simon

Simon - any chance of a login button too? There are two of us using the one machine in our house and as we are both moderators it would mean we didn't have to make a post before doing any moderating.

I have the same problems, all the 'Internet Cafe' PC's at my work place have remembered my user name and password Anyway I have changed it now but won't be able to post at work until the logout button appears (PC's are very locked down, no start menu etc!).

Rollon the the logout button
