Is your scoop a different colour?
In certain lights, I can see that the scoop and the bonnet vents are a slightly different shade of silver to the rest of the car.
I know they'll be sprayed separately, but it's quite noticable in the right light.
Are they all like this?

Might be coz they are plastic and the bonnet is metal, look at the newish Audi's, with some colours you can easily see the difference between the rear wing and the big plastic rear bumpers. Never really noticed it on mine though.
On my old scoob the scoop had faded and you could tell the difference.
On my old vectra it looked fine until it was dark then you could see the drivers side doors had been sprayed and it stood out like a sore thumb
