Default JDM sti v3 full decat

Having read a few of the threads on this subject and just had the downpipe replaced what are the chances of overboost or fueling problems with my car?

It is running a standard ECU (i think , please advise what is std and i will have a look), k&n induction kit, magnex up pipe and now 3" downpipe coupled to 3" hks system.
I havn't give it too much right foot yet as you guys have me worried now!
I have a lamco gauge set fitted with boost only capable of reading to 1.2 bar i think.....

Advice welcome...

Your car will hit boost cut somewhere around 1.35 bar.
Get it warm and then try several acceleration runs from say 2,000 rpm to 6,000rpm in 4th and 5th. If you hit boost cut, get a GBE valve and you can reduce the boost but chances are you will be OK. (Valve is £30 odd)
As regards AFRs, these are usually rich in the first place so a decat is not an issue but to be safe get someone with a wideband to check your fueling across the range. It is only a matter of fitting the equipment and driving the car for 5 or 10 mins.
Where are you located?

Mine hit fuel cut at exactly 4500 rpm.
I was 'screwed' by a very reputable Co for £850 to correct it.
I now know a bit more about Impreza's.

I am sure Harvey above is correct.

Note: The only mod on the car then was a 3'' decat right through system. OK with the stock system, fuel-cut with the 3''.
