I am planning on putting an impreza engine into my VW beetle, But would like to know if you had a pick which one you would use and why.
Could some one please tell me the following as well.
How much does the impreza weigh?
How deep is the engine from the centre of the crank to the bottom of the sump, and then to the top of the intercooler, and also the depth of the engine from the crank pulley to the gearbox mounting surface?

What boost does it run as standard? or does that depend on the engine spec?

Any information would be good

Cheers I have checked his site out already, but want some input form you lot, on you opinions of the different subaru engines.

Is it right that all the flat four engines have a generic block?
