hi could anyone please tell me the size of the speakers that fit straight into the shelf on classic saloon mine came with none !! also what size are the ones in the front doors these are blown i think too ... any help would be appreciated cheers ..

 

Hi mate,

Im sure the door speakers are 5 1/4" and as for the rear shelf my car came with 6x9's fitted and looking under the rear shelf there's only a little cutting of the shelf been done.

I have a 95 Classic Jap WRX and have Pioneer 6x9's on the back where there is provision for them already... Get in the boot and have a look at the shelf; you will see 2 oval shape holes.

I have got 5 1/4 inch Kenwoods in my front door... you may have to do some tinkering but it will work out fine... Door panel comes of easily with clips and bits... a few screws and I am far from technical minded...

When I bought my WRX over 4 years ago, because the original speakers were literally made of paper... they had corroded and ripped...

ive got Infinity 6x9s in the shelf and 51/2" in the doors
