Default gearbox compatibility

I have a wrx 95 , have just bought a 94 box for it not sure if it is jdm or uk am I right in thinking that as long as I change rear diff it will be ok?.
Many Thanks for help. also when putting the case back together do i need a sealent to join it.

think your the lad that called by the w/shop??

unless you determine exactly what box you have then you'll not know wether to change the r/diff??
what did the box come out of??
it would be far easier simply to source the correct box for your car, or you could transfer the CWP and centre diff from your current box if you've bought a UK version (dependant on the state of your existing components??)

on the cases a liquid gasket is used..............

Hi it is arriving tomorrow or tuesday do not know if courier is working tomorrow I will post again when I get them I know it has came from a 94 car just unsure as to whether it is a jdm or uk

i just had a wrx gearbox and rear diff fitted to my 97 uk turbo, it needed a little modifying on the gearbox but otherwise it was fine. Just get the rear diff aswell and u should be fine.
