All

Was wondering if anyone has had to pay for sorting out their slap (ooeeer!)
Seeing as its usually a 98MY problem - I guess some would have it diagnosed after the warranty expires ?
Just after a gauge of cost to fix it as I might have to pay myself to have the work done.

Thanks

Ro.

I remember Peter Croney saying it would be about £600 for a piston replacement, if there was no other engine damage... Don't know how much it might cost then or how likely that engine damage actually is.

Sparshatts quoted me "it could be as much as £1400" a few months ago, but it was hardly a proper quote. It would be nice to hear a real price.

While I was at AWD in Perth they told me this was approx cost. Reason I asked was that had a slight noise on start but disappears quickly. Lets just say I'll wait for it to get a lot worse before I do anything.
