Question

Still getting used to the extra revs on my P1. That many revs is scary (but sounds great in 4th at 7000+)
Anyway, on to my question, does the P1 have a rev limiter? If so where is it? Can't seem to find mine (not tried too hard)

Cheers

on the one occasion I took my P1 above 3,000 RPM, I seem to remember the limiter was at 8,200 RPM !?

8250rpm and it's there all right.

The thing that doesn't seem to be there is the 155mph speed limiter but you can't get near the rev limiter in 5th. Whilst on the Bruntingthorpe 2 mile straight (see Don Palmer Wetter the Better) the speedo went way past 160mph mark and I saw someone else on here say that their P1 had a GPS recorded 164mph at the same place (speedo 8-9 mph favourable by then ie looks like 172/3mph :eek)
