Unhappy Newbie request I wheely need some help!

You guessed it i am another victim of the wet slippery roads, lost control on a roundabout due to my poor driving and lack of concentration luckily no one was hurt only my pride and the nearside rear wheel on my P&J can anyone suggest where i can get a second hand replacement or has one to sell!!I have checked on ebay PH classifieds and just posted in the wanted section on here but no luck yet (54 plate WRX STI with the dimpled rims) I no i am a prat and dont dserve any help but please find it in your hearts to forgive.
On a more technical side the impact with the kerb actually broke the rim leaving apx a 5 inch chunk missing, i have checked as best i can and can see nothing bent and the car is driving straight enough but there is an awfull grinding sound what do we reckon? i have checked the wheel bearing for play by rocking it whilst jacked up but but no obvious signs, drive shaft Bearings/Diff Bearing? any one got any suggestions other than learn to drive!
Paul

Get it chacked by a competent mechanic. The grinding could be bent driveshaft or a host of other things.

Hi Paul

just a shot in the dark but try Ian Armstrong at my local Scooby dealer here in Carlisle...... 01228 525051

quite a few people changed to PFF7's and there might be some lying about their workshop ...... LOL

in about 1000 miles or so the inside of ya tyre will be bald

dont worry about ya boo boo m8 most ppl on ere ave done as well,
