Hi all

I have an MY04 STi with brembo brakes

when braking there is abit of a grinding sound so i guess i need new pads, question is which pads do i get and wheres the cheapest place to buy em?

As I said before, I'd be very suprised if new pads were needed on your (my old ) car. Is the car being used daily? Is there any surface rust on the discs? Do you have a mate who could have a quick look, as I wouldn't want you to buy anything that wasn't required.

I only had the car serviced about 2000 mile before you bought it. The dealer I'm sure would have reported if they were nearing replacement.

I hadnt seen a reply about this from you before :-)

If you rcon they may be ok then i will get them properly looked at, they do work ok tho, saved my *** yesterday from going into the back of someone, i was pissing about and looking at the water spray button, looked up and "oh ****" time to brake :-)

They are just making abit of a grinding noise thats all, maybe it will go

Looks like im keeping the car btw :-) it didnt sell and im not that worried about selling it anyway
