Question

I keep seeing lots of refernces on here to the various boost levels being run by some of the tuned cars.

Does anybody know what the standard boost levels are? I understand the Type RA had a stronger "closed deck" motor but is the boost higher than a "regular" Sti - if so, what does that boost at?

In comparison, what does a standard UK Phase 2 engine boost at?

Russ

I'm pretty sure that the STi V Type RA runs 1bar as standard (well Scott's did when it was standard anyway).

IIRC, the post-V.3 RA's, nor any of the STi's for that matter, do not have closed deck blocks. Shame.

One bar as standard?

Feckin' hell - there's a bit more to come then isn't there!

The quick boys seem to be talking 1.3-1.5 bar.

This IS going to get expensive, i just know it is!
