A mate of mine has text me this morning letting me know that someone he knows was car jacked yesterday in Hindley area. 3 lads in a car had followed the guy home from Bolton and had jacked him in Hindley. The car taken was a Scoobie Wagon.

Hope it was no one on here.... if it was and you happen to come on here then hope things are OK ... please could you let me know what they were like and what car they were driving. Im a little worried myself as I drive home from Bolton area to the Wigan area most nights.

Has anyone else heard anything of this?

My m8 is not usually one to joke about these things.

fooking eck...i was in hindley last week...!!! my parents moved there year before last...i always try and park my car in a place where potential scumbags wont link it with the house (and away from others homes in case of misunderstanding)...

i feel really guilty about someone breaking in just because my car is there...feel the same about parking it outside anyones house overnight; mates, girlfriends, etc...

reference the hijacking, i always remember and practice my driving drills from northern ireland with the possiblity in mind...!!!
