The gear changes in my STI 8 type uk feel very jerkey i thought it was just me at 1st but now im starting to notice it more and more, its worse changing into 4th more than the others but wen cold its hard to put it into any gear at all without a push. sorry to ramble on guys but any help would b much appriciated. Another thing ive noticed is that when i put my foot down and change gear the revs dont drop straight away but its mostly alrite as slow speeds. Dan

 

The tight feel when cold and the revs not dropping fast are normal, all the impreza's do it.

The gearbox loosens up when its warm. I know mine does.
